Welcome to Jembo (“Jembo,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of
Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jembo game
and related services (the “Service”) across iOS, Android, web,
macOS, and Windows.
By accessing or using Jembo, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our
Privacy Policy.
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take
effect when they are published. Continued use of the Service after
changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you
must stop using the Service.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in
your country to enter into a binding agreement for the Service,
whichever is higher. If you are under 16 years old, by creating an
account and accepting these Terms you represent and warrant that a
parent or legal guardian has authorized your use of the Service
(including social features, chat, profiles, and data practices
described in our Privacy Policy).
We do not collect your date of birth and do not independently
verify your age. Your eligibility depends on your truthful
acceptance of these Terms. If you cannot truthfully give the
confirmations above, you must not use the Service.
2. Accounts and Responsibility
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You may
register or sign in using email or through third-party sign-in
providers such as Google or Facebook. Your use of those providers
is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
You are solely responsible for any use of your account.
3. License to Use Jembo
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a
limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and
non-sublicensable license to access and use Jembo for personal,
non-commercial use only.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service
- Sell, license, or commercially exploit the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service in any way not expressly permitted by these Terms
No ownership rights are transferred to you. All rights not
expressly granted are reserved by us.
4. Rules of Conduct
As a condition of using the Service, you agree to comply with these
rules and any additional rules presented within the Service.
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, automation, hacks, mods, or unauthorized third-party tools
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
- Post or share content that is illegal, offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate
- Violate the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, servers, or infrastructure
- Distribute viruses, malware, or conduct attacks such as denial-of-service
- Use unauthorized software to access, intercept, or collect data from the Service
- Exploit or share bugs or errors that provide unintended advantages
- Misuse reporting or support systems, including submitting false reports
- Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations
These rules are not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine
what constitutes a violation and to take action at our sole
discretion.
5. Social Features and User Content
Jembo may include communication channels such as chat, profiles,
and user-generated content (“User Content”).
You are solely responsible for any User Content you create, upload,
or share.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or integrity of User
Content. You understand that you may be exposed to content that you
find offensive or inappropriate.
We are not obligated to monitor user content or communications, but
we may review, moderate, or remove content at any time, with or
without notice.
User Content is not endorsed or controlled by us, and we are not
responsible for user interactions or content.
The Service may include safety tools such as reporting users,
blocking, and muting (including muting as part of blocking).
Availability and functionality of these tools may change over time.
We do not guarantee monitoring of communications or keyword
filtering of chat across all languages.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive,
transferable, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and
modify such content for the purpose of operating and improving the
Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to grant this
license.
We reserve the right to remove or delete any User Content at our
discretion.
Jembo may offer optional paid premium features as a one-time
purchase, including removal of third-party advertisements and
additional functionality. Premium is purchased separately per
platform (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, or web checkout
via Stripe): a purchase on one platform or store account does not
entitle you to premium on another platform unless we expressly
offer and you complete a separate purchase there.
- Third-party ads: If your premium tier includes removal of third-party advertisements, that removal continues for your account on that platform for as long as we offer the Service. We may still show our own promotional or informational content about Jembo or the Service that is not paid third-party advertising.
- Other premium features: Features bundled with premium may be added, changed, or discontinued over time, except that removal of third-party advertisements (where included in your purchase) remains as stated above.
- Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., app stores or web payment services). Pricing, tax, and invoicing are as shown by the provider at purchase.
- All purchases are final, except where required by applicable law
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the payment provider and applicable laws
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees as presented by the platform
7. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict access to
parts of the Service, at any time if you violate these Terms or
engage in behavior we consider harmful or inappropriate.
We may take such action at our sole discretion, with or without
prior notice.
We reserve the right to refuse access to the Service to any user at
any time.
You may request termination of your account at any time, for any
reason, by following the instructions on our
support page.
If your account is terminated:
- Your access to the Service will end
- Your data, progress, and User Content may be deleted
- Any premium access may be revoked without compensation, unless required by applicable law
8. Progress, Data, and Sync
Jembo may support use across multiple devices.
We do not guarantee:
- Synchronization of data between devices
- Preservation of game progress, statistics, or content
User Content and game data are not guaranteed to be stored
permanently and may be lost.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the
Service at any time.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure,
or error-free.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all
content, software, graphics, and design, are owned by us or our
licensors.
You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Service.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service
without our prior written permission.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without
warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties,
including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and
non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, progress, or digital content
- Service interruptions or errors
- User conduct, User Content, or interactions between users
13. Legal Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under
applicable consumer protection laws.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect when
published.
Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated
Terms.

16. Platform-Specific Terms
If you access Jembo through third-party platforms (such as app
stores):
- Those platforms are not responsible for the Service
- Your use must comply with their terms and policies
By using Jembo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood,
and agree to these Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to
its conflict-of-law principles, except that if you are a consumer,
nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights or consumer
protection rules that apply to you under the laws of your country
of habitual residence (including, where applicable, in the European
Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the United States).
If any dispute arises, you and we will first try to resolve it by
contacting support at
support@jembo.app. Courts with jurisdiction under mandatory law may still have
authority where applicable.
